Lush, floral, and rooted in chypre tradition.
If I had the experience back in 2012, the finesse that only comes from years at the bench, the framework of Vetifleur would have been the model on which I built Chypre-Siam. It has that perfect tension between earth and bloom, structure and movement, that I was still learning to catch in those early days.
It opens with the crisp lift of bergamot and galbanum, sliding quickly into a fragrant trio: indolic jasmine for depth, rose for its classic heart, and a silvery iris that catches the light. Beneath them, Javanese vetiver lays down its dry, smoky-green backbone, steadying the florals the way a strong stem holds a blossom upright.
There’s a whisper of smoke woven through, an echo of old-world chypres, grounded in oakmoss and the resinous glow of amber. Cedar and sandalwood smooth the edges, giving the base a soft woodgrain texture.
Vetifleur is my nod to the era when elegance was built to last, It's a chypre that holds the memory of the classics, yet walks easily into the present. It’s the bridge between where Rogue began and where it stands today.
